Getting around on campus can be a challenge for any student. We hope that this accessibility guide will make things a little easier. Just scroll down to find the building of interest.

•Administration Building
There are two sets of doors that are wheelchair accessible. The doors on the northwest side (are not automatic). The main entrance is equipped with automatic doors on the north side of the building. The elevator is located at the far north side of the building. There is a wheelchair accessible pay phone directly inside the main (north) entrance.

•Brown - Currently Brown is under renovation and is closed
The wheelchair accessible entrance and the automatic doors are located on the west side of the building. Additionally there are automatic doors on the east entrance. There is an elevator located in the main hallway. Rest rooms are reasonably wheelchair accessible. The pay phone is NOT accessible.

•College OF Engineering and Applied Sciences
The new CEAS building is at the Parkview Campus but accessible buses run every 30 minutes. Building is fully accessible. Click here for map to the campus

•College of Health and Human Services
The new CHHS building is off of main campus but accessible buses run every 30 minutes. Building is fully accessible.

•Computer Center
The University Computing Center is wheelchair accessible from the north side, however there are no automatic doors. You may also access the Computing Center via the sky walk on the second floor of Waldo Library. The restrooms are reasonably wheelchair accessible. There are automatic doors on the first floor.

•Dalton Center
The Dalton Center is wheelchair accessible from both the northeast side on the second level, as well as from the main entrance on the southeast side. Both entrances have automatic doors. The elevator is located to the right of the lobby on the west side of the building.

•Dunbar
The main entrance to Dunbar is wheelchair accessible, and does have automatic doors. The doors that face the amphitheater are also wheelchair accessible. The elevator is located on the far east side of the building. The restrooms are accessible for some wheelchair users (please check ahead)

•Faunce
The Faunce Student Services building is wheelchair accessible through the main entrance. There are ramps and automatic doors. An elevator located in the southwest corner is also available.

•Friedmann
The restrooms on the second floor are accessible. Which are the only ones accessible in Friedmann, Dunbar and Knauss.

•Knauss
Knauss Hall can be accessed from both the north and the west sides, however only the west side has automatic doors.

•Kohrmann
The automatic doors are located on the east side of the building. There is however a ramp located on the north side of the building and a ground level entrance on the west side of the building. The elevator is located south of the north side entrance, approximately in the center of the building.

•McCracken
There are two ground level entrances, one located on the northwest side and the other on the north side of the building. There are no automatic doors. The elevator is located between 3140 and 3170. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A VERY OLD BUILDING AND SOME DOORWAYS ARE VERY NARROW.

•Rood
There is a elevator in the northeast corner of the building. There is also an elevator in Everett Hall, you can take the sky walk across. Many of the hallways in Rood are very narrow. Please check ahead and contact us if you need assistance.

•Sangren
There are two elevators in Sangren Hall, the first is located in the center entrance on the north side. This elevator services all floors, however it does not service the lecture halls. The second elevator is located by the loading dock (on the east side), and will take you to the level of the lecture halls. If you are entering from the south side of the building there are no automatic doors. However, if you enter from the north side of the building some doors are automatic.

•Schneider
The elevator for Schnieder Hall is located just to the left of the main lobby utilizing the west entrance. The west entrance is also equipped with automatic doors. Restrooms are wheelchair accessible

•Sindecuse
The University Health center is wheelchair accessible. The main entrance is located on the east side of the building and is equipped with automatic doors.

•Sprau
Sprau Tower is equipped with automatic doors on the west side of the building. There is a bank of elevators just inside the entrance.

•Trimpe
The Trimpe Distributive Education Building is wheelchair accessible with a ramp and power door. Handicapped parking for Trimpe is located next to the lower level of Faunce. The ramp entrance to Trimpe is on the north side of the building.

•Waldo
Waldo Library is wheelchair accessible from the main entrance, which is equipped with automatic doors. The library is also wheelchair accessible from the University Computing Center. There are two sets of elevators in the library. The first is just to the south of the main rotunda. The second is located on the east end of the building.

•Wood
Wood Hall is wheelchair accessible from the north entrance. Automatic doors are available. The elevator is located in the northwest corridor. Additionally there are lifts available in the two main lecture halls to bring wheelchair users to the main level.

•Woodlawn Place
Woodlawn Place is wheelchair accessible from the west entrance. The downstairs of Woodlawn Place where the Children's Place Learning Center is located is accessible from the Sindecuse Health Center parking lot on the northwest side of Woodlawn Place. There is no elevator in this building. An automatic door is available at the west entrance to the Disabled Student Resources and Services Office.
